The deadline for applications to serve on the Union Square Civic Advisory Committee (CAC) has been extended to Friday, Feb.

Trash schedule for the week of Feb. 9:
At this time, only Monday pickup is a planned delay. However, additional delays should be expected due to the difficult winter conditions. If you place your trash and recycling out as scheduled below and it is not picked up, please place it out again the next day. Crews will automatically loop back to any uncompleted portions of the previous day's route the next day.

Otis St. Playground Renovation Meeting 3/3
Mayor Joseph A. Curtatone, Ward 1 Alderman Matt McLaughlin, and the Office of Strategic Planning and Community Development (OSPCD) invite all interested community members to a community meeting to discuss upcoming renovations to the Otis Street Playground. The meeting will be held at the East Somerville Community School, 50 Cross St., on Tues., March 3 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. All are welcome to attend and share the ideas which will shape the design of the new playground. Playground renovations are expected to begin in July 2015.
