The City of Somerville’s Digital Bridge Initiative and the Metropolitan Area Planning Council, are inviting community members to join a virtual meeting to share their voice and help shape the City’s digital equity planning. 

Digital Equity Planning Meeting

The Digital Equity Plan will help Somerville expand community access to the internet, devices, and digital literacy classes. Attendees will be encouraged to share their experiences related to internet access and digital skills. 

During the meeting, the Metropolitan Area Planning Council will also share more about the Digital Equity Plan including its goals, initial findings, and current status.

 


Persons with disabilities who need auxiliary aids and services for effective communication (i.e., CART, ASL), written materials in alternative formats, or reasonable modifications in policies and procedures in order to access the programs, activities, and meetings of the City of Somerville should please contact Adrienne Pomeroy at 617-625-6600 x 2059 or apomeroy@somervillema.gov.

The Somerville community is invited to attend Disability Pride Family Day. Attendees will receive treats, prizes, books, and a tote bag. Activities are inclusive for all ages and abilities.
