LOCATION

All interested community members are invited to join the City of Somerville’s Urban Forestry Division and the Mystic River Watershed Association for a series of community planting events in November, at locations in East Somerville and Ten Hills. 

  1. On Wednesday, November 14, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., meet at the Blessing of the Bay Boat House parking lot (32 Shore Drive) for tree planting in Ten Hills, followed by a pizza lunch. All supplies are provided, but please register in advance athttps://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdTRsZ6zJK2fKy-ip25h2IyUBcpNfeNMA3yz6bpN4JO31BjHg/viewform
  2. On Thursday, November 15, from 1 to 4 p.m., join us for a tree planting event on Pennsylvania Avenue. All supplies will be provided, and pizza will be available for volunteers. At least 20 volunteers are needed for this event. Please register in advance at https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdtHDBL2fsYvEhZjslwmDt47dFxXlhEnYziDrADJisRL3Wrmw/viewform.
  3. On Monday, November 19, from 1 to 4 p.m., join us for a tree planting event at Foss Park. Meet on the Fellsway West side of the park. All supplies will be provided, and pizza will be available for volunteers. At least 15 volunteers are needed for this event.
