About the CEUCC
The CEUCC advises the City on climate change and clean energy policy issues and assists the City in designing and implementing programs related to these topics. The Commission has assisted the City in implementing and energy performance contract for City buildings, designing and promoting the Residential Energy Efficiency Program, advocating for expanded transportation alternatives, and conducting outreach and education on greenhouse gas and climate change impacts. Each appointed member serves for a three-year term. Meetings are normally held once per month, but can be scheduled more frequently if necessary.
