Let's work together for the safety and health of our community. The City is hosting two collection events on Saturday, April 27, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. for residents to safely dispose of prescription medications and unused sharps (needles and syringes). Locations include:
- 220 Washington Street (dispose of sharps here)
- 6 Newbury Street
Overdose prevention information and resources will also be available.
Can't make these events? Somerville also offers a 24/7, year-round kiosk at 220 Washington Street for disposal.
