Public Hearing to Discuss Tree Removal for Beacon St. Reconstruction

The City of Somerville Tree Warden invites all interested residents and community members to a public hearing on Monday, April 23, to discuss the upcoming removal of six trees as part of the construction process for the Beacon Street Reconstruction Project. The hearing will begin at 6 p.m. at the Public Safety Building, 220 Washington St.

Plant Trees in Somerville!
We are excited to be recruiting volunteers again for a tree planting event in Somerville hosted by the MyRWA and the city of Somerville. The event will begin at 9:00 am and run until approximately 12:30 pm, followed by a pizza lunch. All supplies are provided. Event is limited to 40 volunteers and registration is required.
