Somerville Cares About Prevention (SCAP) Now Hiring SPFJr, SPF100 Youth Leaders

Somerville Cares About Prevention (SCAP) is currently hiring Middle School and High School Youth Leaders for our Somerville Positive Forces (SPFJr and SPF100) Programs to work as part of a team to promote student wellness through fun campaigns and positive peer messaging; and address issues related to underage drinking, substance abuse, and tobacco use, including bullying and mental health wellness.  

  • Middle School Youth Leaders will meet every Half Day Wednesday from 1pm-3pm, October 31st – June 12th  and receive 25 volunteer hours and $100 for their full participation.  
  • High School Youth Leaders will meet every Thursday from 3:30pm-5:30pm, November - April and receive 60 volunteer hours and $600 for their full participation.
