Medford St. Paving: August 24 - September 10, 2020
Weather permitting, starting Monday, August 24, over the course of approximately two weeks, City contractors will mill and pave part of Medford St. (Partridge Ave. to School St.), as well as Properzi Way, Smith Ave., and part of Sycamore St. (Pembroke St. to Evergreen St.) as part of the City’s Pavement Management Program.

- Sycamore St. (Pembroke St. to Evergreen Ave.)
Schedule (subject to change)
- Week of August 24 (weekdays, 7 a.m. - 5 p.m.): Mill roadways and adjust castings
- Week of August 31 (weekdays, 7 a.m. - 5 p.m.): Pave roadways
Traffic Impacts
- Road closures and parking restrictions during work hours. See maps for detours.
- Temporary two-way traffic will be permitted during work hours on area one-way streets, including: Adams, Bartlett, Dartmouth, Essex, Glenwood, Lee, Pembroke, Richdale, Sycamore, Tennyson, Thurston
- MBTA Bus Route 80 (Inbound & Outbound)
- Stops on Medford St. between Broadway and School St. will not be serviced during work hours.
- Instead, temporary service will be offered at existing stops on Broadway between Medford St. and Marshall St. See map for detours.
- The "Shared Streets" condition will be temporarily suspended on some streets during paving.
