Join the Somerville Condominium Review Board

The City of Somerville’s Condominium Review Board (CRB) seeks two new members.

About the Somerville Condominium Review Board

The CRB is responsible for administering the City’s Condominium Conversion Ordinance, which governs proposed conversion of rental units to condominium units and substantial rehabilitation of existing rental units.

What is the Time Commitment?

Members serve three-year terms. The CRB typically meets the fourth Monday of each month at 6 p.m. with additional time needed for reviewing materials, averaging a total of 5 to 7 hours per month. This appointment includes a stipend of $300 monthly.

What is the Appointment Process?

Members are appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by the City Council.
