The Somerville Arts Council, in partnership with the Program on Georgian Studies at Harvard University's Davis Center, invites the community to attend a unique cultural exchange project, Exchanging Notes.

This free event features performances by four talented artists from Somerville and Georgia, blending dance and percussion to celebrate the richness of both cultures.
 

Event Details:

Exchanging Notes Reception & Lecture

  • Date: Thursday, September 19, 2024
  • Time: 5:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
  • Location: Swedenborg Chapel, 50 Quincy Street, Cambridge
  • Featuring a lecture by Dr. Nana Sharikadze, followed by a Q&A with the artists and a reception.

Exchanging Notes Performance: An Evening of Dance and Drums

  • Date: Saturday, September 21, 2024
  • Showtimes: 6:30 p.m. (First show), 8:00 p.m. (Second show)
  • Location: SomArts Space at the Hive, 561 Windsor Street, 4th Floor, Somerville
  • Enjoy a dynamic fusion of Georgian and American dance and percussion.
