As part of the FY20013 Operating Budget approved last June by the Board of Aldermen, the City reinstated the Capital Projects Management Department, which had been eliminated (with its functions outsourced to contract employees) in the FY 2011 budget cycle. Nuzzo’s new post is one of two new permanent positions in the unit and pays $80,000 annually. (A third position was transferred from another department.) As ISD Superintendent, Nuzzo receives an annual salary of $67,200.
