INFORMATION ON OTIS STREET SHOOTING 10/27/14

SOMERVILLE – On Monday, October 27, 2014, at 7:50 p.m., the Somerville Police Department received 911 calls reporting gunshots heard in the vicinity of Otis St. and Cross St. Responding Officers were met by a 25-year-old male victim who appeared to have sustained a gunshot wound to his left arm. The victim’s injury appeared to be non-life threatening and he was transported to Massachusetts General Hospital via Cataldo Ambulance. Police searched the area to no avail for two male Hispanic suspects in their late 20s that fled the scene in an unknown direction. This incident is under investigation by the Somerville Police Department and the Massachusetts State Police Ballistics Division.
