FabVille Maker Showcase, May 19
FabVille, the City of Somerville’s digital fabrication lab, is hosting its first Maker Showcase to celebrate the local maker community and their diverse creations. All are welcome at this evening of free demonstrations, talks, networking, and refreshments.
The Showcase takes place Thursday, May 19, from 5 to 9 p.m. at Somerville High School, Room B032. Get a hands-on tutorial of the FabVille laser cutters and 3D printers, shop local wares and services, and meet BONK, the Somerville High School competition robot. Between 6 and 8 p.m., catch the speaker series, and at 7 p.m., enter to win a desktop 3D printer courtesy of Artisan's Asylum.
For more information and to register to attend, go to fabville.org. Advanced registration is helpful but not required.
