Community Safety Meeting Tuesday, March 28, 5:30 p.m.

Mayor Katjana Ballantyne, Ward 4 Councilor Jesse Clingan, Chief of Police Charlie Femino, and Director of the Department of Racial and Social Justice Denise Molina Capers invite community members to a Community Safety Meeting on Tuesday, March 28, at 5:30 p.m. in the Healey School Cafeteria at 5 Meacham St. 

Please join us for an update and discussion on the March 21 gunfire incident in Winter Hill and gun activity in Somerville. There will be an opportunity to learn more about related efforts including police work, City initiatives, and opportunities to join in Public Safety for All efforts. A brief overview on understanding violence-related trauma and where to find mental health resources will also be provided. Community questions, concerns, and input are welcome.
