Carnaval @ SomerStreets: Sun 6/7 (Road Closure Info Here)

The City of Somerville invites you to the "Carnaval @ SomerStreets" event this Sunday, June 7. Family-friendly programming and live entertainment will take place on Broadway from McGrath Highway to Pennsylvania Ave. between noon and 4 p.m. on Sunday, free of charge, and all are welcome.

In order to ensure public safety at the event, several road closures and parking bans will be in effect between McGrath Highway and Pennsylvania Ave.:

• Broadway will be closed to all vehicular traffic beginning at 9 a.m., and there will be no parking on either side of the street from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• Residents who live on the west side of Broadway will be detoured onto Broadway at Pennsylvania Ave., and
• Residents who live on the east side of Broadway will be detoured onto Pearl St.
• Pennsylvania Ave., will become two way for the duration of the event.

Buses along East Broadway will be rerouted from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. For full rerouting information, visit www.mbta.com.
