Arts Council Seeking Youth to Paint Mural at Trum Playground
The Somerville Arts Council and local art teacher and painter Crystal Burney invite Somerville youth to assist with the creation of a ground mural for the water fountain at the Trum Playground on Franey Road.
Youth ages 7 and older who are interested in learning how to paint a mural will be welcomed to add a few of their own brush strokes to a new design located below the water fountain in the playground. Drop in for the following dates and times, and be sure to wear your play clothes!
- Sat. May 30, 9:30-11:30 a.m.
- Sat. June 6, 9:30-11:30 a.m.
- Sat. June 13, 9:30-11:30 a.m.
Rain dates for all sessions are the Sundays of the same weekend, at the same times. For more information, contact the Somerville Arts Council at 617-625-6600 ext. 2985.
