Community Preservation Committee will review submitted proposals for historic resources, open space and recreation land
SOMERVILLE – More than $1.5 million is available for historic resources, open spaces and recreation land projects in Somerville through the Community Preservation Act (CPA). Interested applicants must submit their eligibility determination forms by Wednesday, Sept. 21 at 5 p.m. to City CPA Manager Kristen Stelljes at KStelljes@somervillema.gov. Applicants who are unsure of their proposal’s eligibility or have other questions may contact her via email or by phone at 617-625-6600 x2107.
Two pre-application workshops are being offered this year, and prospective applicants are strongly encouraged to attend in order to learn more about the application process. Attendees should RSVP to KStelljes@somervillema.gov and note whether project falls under the category of historic resources, open space, recreation land or blended.
